This is a great independent film destined for “cult classic” status. I recently viewed this film and was very impressed with the story line and the acting. I highly recommend this movie.

I am a huge fan of indie films, both the actors and film makers and I had been reading online about Bazookas: The Movie for a long time and it was worth the wait!
***SPOILERS*** The owner of a family owned gym, Gus Bazooka (Stosh Zona, dies suddenly and leaves the business to his two sons. Angus (Vinny Duwe) is the good son trying to keep the business going and Judah (Sean R. Brooks) is the weasel of an older brother trying to sabotage the gym so he can sell it! The two brothers make a bet that will give control of the gym over to the winner and that’s where the movie really shines!
Angus enlists his employees (Angela Cohen, Nicole Galati, Jason J. Michael, Roberto Lombardi & Steven Nelson) to help him save the gym by introducing some sexy new classes and promotions, while Judah plots to destroy it with his henchmen (Joseph Campellone and Omar Portilla) by sabotage!
The DVD package is 100% satisfying with a behind the scenes photo montage, directors commentary and a blooper reel that’s just as funny as the movie itself! Not to mention how top notch the cinematography and the amazing music is in this movie!
Bazookas is total slapstick, college humor in the vein of Porky’s or Old School and is just as good (if not better) than most! If you like those movies, you’ll love Bazookas: The Movie!!

Having grown up loving movies like “Porky’s”, “Animal House”, “Bachelor Party” and “Hardbodies”; I eagerly watched Bazookas. I was not disappointed. This movie is made like the comedies of the 80’s… a genre I happen to love. Sure, this is not a genre of high art, it is bathroom humor, and great bathroom humor at that. Bazookas achieves what todays teen comedies fail at, Non-PC, gratuitous laughs. If you liked movies like “American Pie” or “Superbad”, bazookas is for you.
The girls are beautiful, the guys are hilarious, and the whole movie took me back to the time when my friends and I would “sneak” in to R rated movies.
If you are looking for a fun escape for an hour and a half, I highly recommend Bazookas, The Movie.
